# Wayfinding placement

Use the five supplied sign-face layouts and the original filled library icons. Sign text is English uppercase. Use one direction per sign row; arrow position stays aligned with the destination. Keep names short and prioritise destination, arrow and room number over branding.

The high-legibility revision gives the destination names, room number, pictograms and arrows more of each face's usable area. Preserve that hierarchy and clear contrast when scaling the artwork; do not shrink the information back into a small central island. Check legibility from the actual approach distance with a full-size paper proof.

Room numbers and restroom signs do not need a full GV logo. Use it at primary entrances, reception and building directories. Do not add detached Space Field ornament to an edge, footer, icon or lettering.

At entrances, put the directory in the visitor's approach sightline. Place room identification on the approach-side wall next to the door, clear of the door swing. Use blade signs where a flat sign cannot be seen from the corridor approach. Check contrast and scale at the actual viewing distance with full-size paper proofs.

Keep emergency, fire and legally required accessibility signs separate from decorative branding. Their symbols, colours and placement require the project's applicable code review.

Before fabrication: confirm site dimensions, destinations, mounting substrate, fixing method, safe edges, lighting and material samples with the supplier. Supplied SVG dimensions describe the design faces; they are not structural or installation drawings.

Space Field is omitted from functional signs. Only the complete EDGE, SIGNATURE and WINDOW slogan compositions may be used elsewhere; do not use the bars as an ornament.
